Manchester United matchwinner Wayne Rooney is confident they'll be up for their Boxing Day clash with Stoke after last night's Club World Cup final victory in Tokyo.
The striker said: "It was great to get the winning goal. Getting the player of the tournament award is also a great achievement for me.
"Some of the lads have been struggling to sleep with the jet-lag but I haven't had a problem. In fact, I could fly back now and play the next day."
"It was a really tough game for us after going down to ten men," added Rooney. "They had more possession but we defended well to win it."
