Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been impressed with Andreas Pereira's performances in pre-season and will keep the youngster at Old Trafford this summer.

Pereira is a talented but developing young player and having spent time on loan at Granada last season, it was expected that the Brazilian youngster would be sent out on another temporary spell this summer.

However, Pereira has managed to impress during the Red Devils' pre-season tour of the United States and according to reports emerging out of England, Mourinho has now decided to keep hold of the 21-year-old.

Speaking about his immediate future, Pereira had said recently: “For me it is going well. I am doing my best, I want to get into the team this season. I want to help my team and hopefully we can achieve a lot this year."
