Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Benfica are a better club than FC Basel and CSKA Moscow.

United are in Group A of the Champions League alongside Basel, Moscow and Benfica. So far, the Red Devils have started the competition in fine form having taken six games from their two games thus far, having recorded convincing wins against Basel and CSKA.

Mourinho revealed that he views the Portuguese club Benfica as the biggest threat to his side in their Champion's League group.

He said, "The defeat suffered in Switzerland didn't change my opinion that Benfica are our main opponent in this group stage of the Champions League,"

"Benfica's bad start in the Champions League doesn't change the approach to the double-match that is at the door. "They are better than CSKA and Basel."
