Manchester United and Manchester City are battling for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski. The Daily Star Sunday says David Moyes has identified the Polish star as the man he wants to boost his forward line as he gets down to the business of sorting out Wayne Rooney's Man United future tomorrow.
And City boss Manuel Pellegrini is chasing Lewandowski in the wake of Carlos Tevez's switch to Juventus and the club's decision to end their interest in Napoli's Edinson Cavani.
Lewandowski will have showdown talks with Dortmund this week, with the striker keen to sort out where he will be playing his football this term.
The striker, 24, had set his heart on a move to German rivals Bayern Munich but Dortmund refused to let him go.
