Manchester United are being linked with Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho.
The Brazilian has been linked with United and Manchester City after comments this week.
The 27-year-old, speaking to calciomercato.com, is quoted as saying: "I am closing a deal with an English club. I will play in Manchester in January."
