A number of clubs around Europe are showing considerable interest in Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
According to the Dutchman's agent, the Portuguese club are taking their time in offering the player a new deal sparking interest from clubs on the continent as well as in England.
"There is still no progress in increasing the value of the buy-out clause that the club want to include.
"I have heard rumours in the media about interest in the player from foreign clubs.""We are waiting for Sporting," agent Louis Laros told Portuguese newspaper Record.
It is believed that both Manchester United and Manchester City are showing interest in van Wolfswinkel who scored 20 goals in all competitions in his debut season at Sporting.
