Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Manchester United, Ajax and Werder Bremen were all represented on the day.
Among the mooted targets were Alvaro Morata, Denis Cheryshev and Álex Fernández of Real Madrid and Barcelona's Gerard Deulofeu.
