Manchester United and Manchester City are going head-to-head for PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali. Both City and United are lining up lucrative offers for the Belgian teenager, who is already being hailed as the next Eden Hazard after playing just eight games for PSV Eindhoven, says the Sunday Mirror.
Bakkali is unable to sign a professional contract at Eindhoven until his 18th birthday in January because of regulations in Holland governing young players.
And although Eindhoven have already opened negotiations about a three-year deal, there is optimism at both Old Trafford and the Etihad that the winger can be prised away from his Dutch club.
