Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan is the subject of intense interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Daily Mail says United and City are maintaining interest in Benfica midfielder Gaitan.

Both sides had scouts watching the 23-year-old Argentine in Benfica's 2-0 League Cup victory against Santa Clara on Wednesday.

Gaitan has a £37.5m release clause in his contract.
