Manchester United and Manchester City are being linked with unsettled Everton star Marouane Fellaini. The Manchester Evening News says Fellaini put United and City on alert by admitting he wants to leave Everton.

The 24-year-old driving force of Everton would be a perfect fit at Old Trafford where fans are desperate for Sir Alex Ferguson to recruit a midfield enforcer.

But City too would be interested with boss Roberto Mancini keen on versatility - Fellaini has emerged as one of the Premier League's best all-action midfielders and can also operate as a striker.
