Manchester United and Manchester City are chasing Lazio midfielder Sergey Milinkovic-Savic.
The 22-year-old has made 32 appearances for Lazio so far this season and netted seven league goals, helping the club to fourth position in Italy's top flight.
United boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear he is on the look out for a new midfielder this summer as a replacement for the retiring Michael Carrick.
City manager Pep Guardiola is also believed to have an interest in his signature as he aims to bolster his side's attacking options.
In August, Lazio owner Claudio Lotito rejected the notion that the Rome side were a selling club.
"I turned down 70m euros [£61.7m] for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic," Lotito claimed.
But fees have skyrocketed since then and there is a sense Lazio are in a very strong negotiating position with regards to Milinkovic-Savic, reports the Daily Star.
