Manchester United have made a bid for Flamengo midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
Sport says United have lodged an offer for his signature, keen to get one step ahead of their rivals.
The 21-year-old is under contract with Flamengo until December 2020 and has a release clause of €50m million.
Paqueta has already been tipped to become the latest Brazilian to leave his homeland with a big money move across Europe on the cards.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have both captured Arthur Melo and Vinicius Junior from the south American country with the pair now attempting to make the breakthrough on the biggest stage.
Paqueta's impressive displays for Flamengo saw him earn his first international call-up for Brazil earlier this month.
