Manchester United will make a last ditch effort to attempt to sign Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.
The Mirror reports that United boss David Moyes is looking to lodge a third bid for the ex-Arsenal skipper which could reach £35million and beyond with add-ons.
Barcelona will more than likely reject the bid because of the clause in Fabregas' contract he signed when joining from Arsenal in 2011. However, the report suggests that the Spanish midfielder may be given permission to buy out his own contract if he wants to force through a move to Old Trafford.
Fabregas has not yet committed to Barcelona as Moyes continues to go about bringing the 26-year old to the home of the Premier League champions.
