Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is to make a final attempt for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
Laporte is keen for the move to happen before tomorrow's transfer deadline.
Laporte is likely to stay at Bilbao until the summer but United are reportedly willing to test their resolve by putting in one final, lucrative offer before Monday.
United would also have to provide the funds to Laporte to buy out his own contract, however.
