Manchester United's squad had their flight diverted due to the horrendous weather China is experiencing.

The team were flying out of Shanghai on to Beijing following yesterday's heavy defeat, but bad weather meant they had to land at an airport on the way.

Midfielder Memphis Depay filmed a video that he shared on social media, as he and the rest of the squad were forced to disembark onto the tarmac.

He titled it "lost somewhere in China", with the footage showing him with the hood of his Manchester United coat up.

"We had to make a quick landing somewhere," he says, before he asks the air hostess where they are.

"We tried to fly to Beijing, but the weather is a little bit bad, so we had to land somewhere else," added the 22-year-old winger.
