Selling up to £600 million of bonds is one of the options Manchester United is looking at to help refinance its debt, according to a report in the Sunday Times. The newspaper reported that the club has hired JPMorgan Chase & Co and Deutsche Bank AG to advise on ways it can decrease its debt.
Two US hedge funds, Citadel Investment Group LLC and Perry Capital LLC, have reportedly lent Manchester United's owner Malcolm Glazer £138 million.
Reuters reports that JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank declined to comment when contacted about the story.
