Edinson Cavani is ready to demand a transfer from PSG.Le Parisien says the Uruguayan striker has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks.

And the 28-year-old will ask PSG to let him leave for the Premier League if they can't promise him more playing time in his preferred position.

A source close to Cavani revealed: "There is no question that he will not stay one more season if the sporting situation doesn't change. This is the bottom line.

"Edinson understood that, in the interests of the team, he had to play on the right side and he has done that for two years now.

"But that's not to say that the position suits him.

"He wants to play at the axis of the attack - his preferred position - and not only when Ibrahimovic is absent.

"He needs continuity in that position to fully express the qualities that made him a top scorer in Italy."
