The G14 group of clubs, which includes Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, will break-up today after being the bane of Fifa and Uefa for eight years.

The decision comes after its main gripe with the established international federations - the demand for clubs to be compensated for allowing their players to join national squads - was settled last month.
