Interest from Manchester United and Liverpool is being blamed for James Rodriguez's sudden form slide.

The Porto star has been tracked by both Premier League clubs since January. But in recent weeks, his form has suddenly dropped and the lack of influence the midfielder is having on Porto is being directly blamed for their recent poor results.

Earlier this month, Rodriguez admitted he was aware of United's interest: "I am very happy here, but if that option [Manchester United] came up, I will not deny that I would like to play for a club like this."
