Wolverhampton Wanderers have Paul Ince as their main candidate to replace the recently sacked Walter Zenga.
Zenga was axed by Wolves just 87 days after being appointed following a poor run of form and a host of names have already been mentioned as potential replacements for the Italian manager.
Now according to reports from The Sun, it has been claimed that former Blackburn Rovers boss Ince is the man whom the Wolves hierarchy want in charge at Molineux while ex-Olympiakos manager Marco Silva is also being considered for the role.
Former Manchester United star Ince, who also played with Liverpool, West Ham United, Inter Milan and Middlesbrough, spent time between 2002 and 2006 as a player at Wolves.
The 49-year-old has managerial experience with Rovers as well as Macclesfield Town, MK Dons (two stints), Notts County and Blackpool.
