Manchester United and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Marco Reus' situation at Borussia Dortmund. The Daily Star says German sources report that talks between the striker and Borussia Dortmund have broken down and that Reus' £27.9m release clause remains in place.
The Premier League giants can only watch on helplessly though, as the clause can not be activated until NEXT summer and with Dortmund refusing to sell this year, United and Liverpool have to bide their time.
Reus still has three years remaining on his deal at Dortmund but can be bought at a bargain price of just under £28m in the summer of 2015.
