Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin is a winter target for Manchester United according to reports.
The Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils are watching the 28-year old Uruguayan centre-back despite claims from chief executive Ed Woodward and manager Louis van Gaal that no new players will be arriving at Old Trafford in January.
But the report claims that van Gaal is considering meeting Atletico's £28million release clause for Godin who has been with the Rojiblancos since arriving from Villarreal in 2010.
