Manchester United are being linked with a stunning £50 million raid on Benfica in January.A Bola says United scouts were present during Benfica's 2-1 defeat to Braga on Thursday night as Louis van Gaal prepares a whopping £50million bid for Argentina internationals Nicolas Gaitan and Enzo Perez.
United came close to signing Perez during the summer transfer window before the midfielder penned a new deal to stay in Portugal, whilst Gaitan was linked with a move during Sir Alex Ferguson's reign.
Perez has a release clause of £23m, whilst Gaitan would cost the Red Devils £27m.
But with a huge warchest at his disposal, Van Gaal is ready to splash the cash as United look to make a surprise title bid following an unbeaten run in the Premier League.
