Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in the frame for the Bolton Wanderers job.
The Daily Mail says Mick McCarthy and Solskjaer have emerged as the two leading contenders to replace Owen Coyle as Bolton manager.
Solskjaer, who worked wonders in Norway with Molde, is keen on a return to the North West and was in Manchester on Monday to see United's Under 21s play Southampton.
