Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is on a fast-track coaching course.
The Sun says he began his A licence at Blackburn Rovers academy on Monday.
Paul Scholes has completed his coaching badges Scholes could be qualified through this scheme by the end of the season as he and some elite former players are given a special course shorter than the usual.
And Scholes can now take a job in football as he is in the process of getting his badges.
Wigan boss Warren Joyce wants Scholes to come in part time while Manchester United would also now be able to give him a post with their kids.
It is a significant first step for Scholes who has stayed off coaching courses unlike big pals Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt.
