Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is sorry over the style of the current team.

United were held to a 0-0 draw in their Champions League last-16 first-leg clash away to Sevilla tonight.

“It was a bad game of football and a difficult watch to be honest with you," Scholes said.

“I think the quality from both teams in the final third wasn't quite up to standard of what you'd expect at this level of the Champions League.

“But as we all said, job done for Manchester United.

“I think they'll comfortably go through at Old Trafford."
