Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel says Chelsea striker Fernando Torres deserves an EIGHT MATCH BAN for his clash with Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen.
Schmeichel, appearing on Motd Extra, claims Torres should be treated in the same way Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was last term.
He said: "If Suarez had done that, it would have been the biggest story and people would have cried for another 8 game suspension.
"I see no difference in biting a player and scratching a player, you cannot raise your hands in modern day football."
