Manchester United legend Bryan Robson believes his former club will be challenging for the title this season.

The Red Devils escaped with a point after being outplayed by Liverpool last Saturday, and Robson says Jose Mourinho's side can expect similar challenges over the next month as they play fellow title contenders Tottenham and Chelsea.

"We're going to find out over the next month [how much United have improved], because we've got Tottenham, we've got Chelsea," he added.

"You're playing against the ones that are feeling they're going to challenge you for the title.

"It's about what you do against those sorts of people.

"This season I think the squad has improved so much that we will be challenging for the title."
