Former Manchester United star Bryan Robson has had an operation to get rid of a cancerous tumour in his throat.
The 54-year old former England captain had the surgery in Thailand where he is the current head coach of the Thai national team.
A statement released confirmed the news and also said that 'Captain Marvel' is expected to make a full recovery.
"Bryan Robson underwent an operation to remove a tumour from his throat on March 3 in a hospital in Bangkok," the statement read.
"The laboratory report revealed a cancerous tumour, which will need further treatment. The oncologist is confident that the condition is treatable.
"At this moment Bryan is fine to continue with his role as Thailand coach and his role as ambassador of Manchester United."
