Manchester United legend Bryan Robson has taken aim at Manchester City fans.

Robson echoed Rio Ferdinand's accusation that City's glory-hunting supporters are 'creeping out the woodwork'.

The ex-West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough boss told the Daily Star Sunday: "To win a 20th title would be really nice. We'd be pulling further away from Liverpool's 18 - and beating City would be great when they're all coming out the woodwork.

''I walked around Manchester for 15 years and never saw a City fan. Now, all of a sudden, I see thousands of them all over the place, everywhere."
