Manchester United legend Bryan Robson has revealed they're following the Bayern Munich blueprint in employing former stars around the club.
Former manager Sir Alex Ferguson admired the way Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer recruited former stars to important roles within the Champions League winners.
And now, with Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt all involved with coaching the Red Devils, Robson believes Fergie's plan is finally in place.
Robbo, 56, said: "About 12 or 15 years ago, something like that, Sir Alex looked at Bayern Munich and thought it was great they always had somebody involved - the experience from top international players - that bind a football club in whatever area.
"Obviously David Moyes thinks that is a very important role as well because on day one he brought in Phil and Ryan and I think that is good for the club."
