Manchester United legend Bryan Robson would like to see Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech move to Old Trafford.

He also feels his old club need a dominant central defender, an inspirational midfielder and an A-list striker.

Robson told the Sunday Mirror: "It's important to bring in players as soon as possible. If De Gea has to be replaced, Cech would be ideal - he could do for the club what Edwin van der Sar did.

"Ideally, United will be able to strengthen the back, midfield and attack. And also, hopefully, one or two of the kids will make their mark, as the likes of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes did."
