Manchester United legend Nicky Butt is being linked with the Oldham Athletic manager's job.
Butt is currently working with United's U21 squad and eager to step into management.
Chairman Simon Corney is, however, in no rush to name the new man and, although he has 60 applications to go through, former Hull City boss Phil Brown will figure prominently in his thoughts.
