Manchester United legend Gary Neville feels Chelsea players should be wary about wanting Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho to replace Andre Villas-Boas.
Neville wrote in the Mail on Sunday: "If Villas-Boas goes, I've seen names such as Mourinho touted as successors.
"Mourinho is not successful without being ruthless when he needs to be and, if he returned to Stamford Bridge now, he'd quickly realise his old stars are not in the kind of form that can deliver the Premier League title or Champions League.
"This Chelsea squad have been allowed to grow old together with only now a transition starting with Ramires, Juan Mata and Sturridge.""The Chelsea players should be careful what they wish for, even if they like the idea of Mourinho coming back to 'rescue' them.
