Manchester United legend Gary Neville feels David Moyes NEEDS to get to the Capital One Cup final.
United must overcome a 2-1 deficit in tonight's semifinal, second-leg clash with Sunderland.
Neville said reaching the final - and the chance to defeat Manchester City in it - could be the catalyst that transforms their fortunes.
"David Moyes needs a big match," said Neville. "The team need a big match at Wembley.
"Think about how they could turn this around. Yes, of course, [by] signing players, but belief and confidence is low at the moment.
"Everyone would be expecting them to lose anyway against Manchester City. They'd [City] be the favourites, the pressure would be on City for once, probably, in a big game. Usually, it would be even.
"So I think the risk of going there and creating an upset, and giving those United fans something to sing about, and David Moyes having the confidence of winning a trophy, you'd have to say, 'Get to Wembley and see what you can do against Manchester City.'
