Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Chelsea gaffed selling Danny Sturridge to Liverpool.
Sturridge has hit two winners in the opening two games of the Premier League.
Neville told Sky Sports: "He just needed to play football.
"Chelsea have gone out there tonight with I don't know how many millions of pounds' worth of strikers, and they let that kid go - and he's better than anything they've got.
"If he was leading the line against Manchester United, Manchester United are in a whole different ball game. If you look at his stats - 12 [league] goals in 16 games. That's when people start to take you seriously.
"Through playing and someone having confidence in him, he looks like the real thing."
