Manchester United legend Gary Neville refuses to believe manager David Moyes has lost the players.
Neville acknowledged United's displays this season have not helped the manager, although he poured scorn on theories that the players are not playing for the manager.
"It's the easiest thing in the world to say that, desire is lacking. We've watched it in a few games and it's an easy conclusion to make.
"Against Bayern Munich a few weeks ago they were fighting for their lives.
"The Everton performance was poor and some performances this season have been shocking, well below the acceptable level. It's not done Moyes any favours.
"The idea they had possession against Everton is a waste of time. I called it meaningless and I stand by that.
"They used to go and win games, destroy teams. The idea you keep the ball and look pretty is a waste of time for me. They were not good enough yesterday [Sunday]."
