Man Utd legend Neville baffled by Tevez behaviour at Man City

Manchester United legend Gary Neville admits he can't understand the behaviour of Carlos Tevez at Manchester City.

He wrote in the Mail on Sunday: "I can't work out the Tevez situation at all, apart from knowing it's a great shame for all parties concerned.

"Carlos should have been a legend in Manchester and he's not.

"His latest interview, where he compared his treatment to a dog, was the furthest from an apology I've ever heard.

"In response, Mancini seems to be pouring a bucket of cold water on the idea that Carlos can walk straight back into the team.

"I've played with Carlos and he is not a bad person at heart. But he broke the cardinal rule that you don't burn your bridges in life.

"He has misread City into thinking he could force them to let him leave. He picked on the wrong club and the wrong manager. When you're as rich as Sheik Mansour, turning down £20million for Tevez isn't going to break you.

"A football club have finally stood their ground and we may see it as a turning point."
