Manchester United legend Gary Neville has had another pop at Chelsea defender David Luiz.

Neville said he was “surprised" that Conte made the decision to bring the Brazilian back to England after it was rumoured he was searching for an Italian centre-half over the summer.

Speaking from Stamford Bridge last night, the pundit joked: “I'm very surprised to see him with Conte as a manager.

“I think of Conte's centre-backs over the last few years that he's had with Juventus and Italy as very solid, know how to play the zonal system and dependable.

“I think David Luiz is a very big talent but I would have never of put those two together, there's something bizarre about it, it feels a little bit strange. I'm trying to think of an analogy to describe it.

“It'd probably be like me and Miss World.

“It's something I'm still coming to terms with and I'm interested to see if he's had an impact on him in the next few weeks since he arrived."
