Man Utd legend Law: FA Cup still has magic

Manchester United legend Denis Law feels the FA Cup still has it's allure.

United visit Yeovil Town in the Third Round today.

"You know yourself it wouldn't be wrong for me to say the FA Cup is not the tournament it once was but it's still a huge competition for a lot of us," Law told ManUtd.com. "The Champions League has taken over somewhat but it becomes exciting for teams who can go further on in the competition and it has still got that special allure.

"It was our dream to play in the cup final. It was huge. I only played in it once and I said then when we won it that I wouldn't care if I didn't win it again, but I did really. Whenever two teams get into the final, it's a huge game and really right up there. You would always watch no matter who was playing as it was a huge event.

"Maybe it is becoming a bit bigger now it's back on the BBC," he added. "There have been a lot of non-league teams on TV and I've enjoyed that. You always want the underdogs to win. We all want that and not the best team winning all the games."
