Manchester United legend Roy Keane hopes Brendan Rodgers is given the chance to make it at Liverpool.
Keane wrote in The Sun: "I have heard people questioning just how good a job he did at Swansea. How the club had just missed out on the play-offs the season before he took over so it was a good job to get. But there's a big difference between nearly getting to the play-offs and going up.
"I know Brendan from being on courses with him.
"He's a good fella and it's good to see someone like that get a break.
"Those who have worked under him say he is a good coach and, if the Liverpool lads give him a chance, who is to say he cannot be a success."
