Man Utd legend Keane facing battle for Ipswich stay

Roy Keane is battling for his future as Ipswich Town manager.

The Mirror says Manchester United legend Keane's 's future at Ipswich Town has been plunged into fresh doubt - with Tony Mowbray and Steve Cotterill in the frame to take his job.

Keane had a stormy first full season with the Tractor Boys but survived despite that faltering start. However, rumours are growing of a shock change at Portman Road.

Old boy Mowbray is available after his disappointing spell at Celtic and Ipswich may move for him before a rival Championship club snaps him up and asks him to repeat his heroics at West Brom.

Mowbray would be open to the return to English football and a chance to get on the managerial up escalator again after his experiences in Scotland.
