The Mirror says Manchester United legend Keane's 's future at Ipswich Town has been plunged into fresh doubt - with Tony Mowbray and Steve Cotterill in the frame to take his job.
Keane had a stormy first full season with the Tractor Boys but survived despite that faltering start. However, rumours are growing of a shock change at Portman Road.
Old boy Mowbray is available after his disappointing spell at Celtic and Ipswich may move for him before a rival Championship club snaps him up and asks him to repeat his heroics at West Brom.
Mowbray would be open to the return to English football and a chance to get on the managerial up escalator again after his experiences in Scotland.
