Manchester United legend Roy Keane has warned Arsenal against allowing Mesut Ozil to run down his contract.
Ozil currently has two years left to run on a £140,000-a-week deal at the Emirates.
The German midfielder, who scored a hat-trick in the Gunners' 6-0 Champions League win over Ludogorets last night, is thought to be demanding a £250,000-a-week contract that would shatter Arsenal's wage structure.
“Getting Ozil signed up is vital for the club and what will help them is winning trophies," Keane said.
"I know they look a bit short when it comes to the Champions League and Premier League but Arsenal have to get these players signed up - it will be a disaster if they don't."
