Manchester United legend Paul Ince is in the frame for the Portsmouth job.

The Mirror says Ince is set to make a managerial comeback with Portsmouth.

The 45-year-old former Manchester United, West Ham United and Liverpool ­midfield player has been out of work since he left Notts County in the ­summer of 2011.

He is keen to return - and Portsmouth are looking for a new manager after Michael Appleton left ­Fratton Park to take over at Blackpool.
