Manchester United legend Paul Ince has hailed Louis van Gaal's man-management of the rejuvenated Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini, 27 was expected to leave Old Trafford after flopping in his first season under David Moyes, who recruited him for £28million from Everton.
Ince told the Daily Star Sunday: "You have to perform every week and in the early part of Fellaini's stint at United, he struggled.
"Van Gaal has put belief in him, given him some confidence, and he is paying him back."
