Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs made his playing return in the new Indian futsal competition last night.
Giggs' Mumbai beat Chennai 4-2 in the first game before Ronaldinho's Goa lost by the same scoreline to AC Milan and Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo's Kolkota, reports the Daily Mail.
The Welshman set up the fourth goal as he triumphed over the side containing futsal legend Falcao.
The concept of creating a Futsal league followed on from successful examples elsewhere in the world and the star-led tournament will see Paul Scholes' debut on Saturday against Kolkota while Giggs is again in action against former Bolton defender Michel Salgado's Kochi.
