Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is reportedly hesitant to take over as caretaker manager of the Red Devils should Louis van Gaal be sacked.
Giggs was installed as interim boss after David Moyes was fired by United in April 2014, but the Daily Mail is reporting the Welshman does not fancy taking on the role once again should van Gaal leave Old Trafford.
It is understood that while Giggs is loyal to van Gaal, he wants to be seriously considered for the position full-time and not just seen as a potential fill-in.
Van Gaal is likely to lose his job should United miss out on qualifying for the Champions League, with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho the favourite to replace him.
