Man Utd legend Ferguson happy seeing foreign coaching influx

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson has praised Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola for moving to England.

Speaking at UEFA's annual Elite Club Coaches Forum in Switzerland, the veteran Scotsman suggested Guardiola and Klopp's decision to challenge themselves away from their respective homelands proves the Premier League is the place to be.

"The Premier League is such a magnet for all the top coaches," Ferguson said.

"It's not just the Italians. There's Jurgen Klopp who is German, Jose Mourinho who is Portuguese and Pep Guardiola who is Spanish.

"There's a school of Italian managers establishing in the Premier League but it's a collection of international managers now because I think the Premier League is probably the most attractive league in Europe now.

"When you see the television figures in America, for instance, it's all English football.

"It's such an attractive game, the English game, and that's why these managers are there, to take the challenge."
