Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed Paul Pogba used to look up to Ravel Morrison.

Pogba, who now plays for Juventus, has become one of the most sought-after midfielders in world football, but Ferdinand has revealed the Frenchman used to idolise his former team-mate, who now plays for Lazio.

He told the Daily Mail: “Paul Pogba and Adnan Januzaj used to look up to him [Morrison] and idolise him."

After he left Old Trafford, Morrison struggled to settle at West Ham, Birmingham City and Cardiff City, before he moved to Lazio, where he has played just 53 minutes of football this season.
